When you arrive at Lee Chiropractic, our staff will welcome you as the newest member of our family. Kick your shoes off and relax while you complete our new patient paperwork ahead of your intake exam. Our paperwork can take 20-30 minutes to complete and it provides us with your health history and current information on your condition.
Your initial visit is a 60-90 minute consultation and exam. Dr. Christine Lee will talk with you about your concerns and needs while performing a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination. Toward the end of the exam, your picture will be taken for a posture-screening program that helps the doctor to fully assess your body's alignment.
If you have recent X-RAYS it is always good to bring them to your initial appointment for review. X-RAYS help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you and show us any serious spinal conditions. If you do not have recent X-RAYS and Dr. Lee determines that they are necessary, she may request them. We do not take X-RAYS in our office but we can send a request to your primary physician or we can give you a prescription to have them taken in a different facility.
Report of Findings
Your second visit is another brief consultation with the doctor where she gives you the results of your exam and posture screen. At this point Dr. Lee will answer any questions you may have including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will my treatment cost?
Dr. Christine Lee provides the best treatment advice and a tailored wellness plan for each patient's individual needs that you can take home with you. Our support staff will also discuss financial options and scheduling before walking you through upcoming visits and getting you ready for your first adjustment.
Every patient is different. Your recurring visits may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, extra modalities and support tools, exercises and diet recommendations as well as soft tissue massage and muscle work. You may not need these things either - it all depends on your body and what it needs to start staying in its proper alignment on a regular basis and healing itself. Chiropractic treatment is interactive and individual so feel free to express any curiosities or concerns about the many different styles of treatment at any time.
